The Son Also Rises
A Journey of Faith, Redemption, and Revelation: The Son Also Rises is a heartfelt reflection on the purpose behind faith, the power of redemption, and the personal experiences that reveal God’s presence in everyday life. In this deeply personal work, G. Lloyd Jones explores why God inspired the Bible to be written and how that same care and divine purpose continues to guide His people. Written from a place of sincere conviction and humility, the book traces the author’s journey from hardship to redemption, illustrating how faith and perseverance can transform even the most difficult chapters of life.
This book offers a personal and reflective perspective on the author’s spiritual journey, enriched with stories, insights, and photographs that bring his experiences to life. Building upon the foundation of his first book, Jones shares a continuation of his testimony, emphasizing God’s faithfulness, mercy, and ongoing engagement in the lives of those who seek Him. Guided by the principle Acta, non verba—deeds, not words—the narrative highlights the author’s journey from rags to redeemed to revealed, serving as a tribute to a life shaped by faith and devoted to humble service. Rags to Redeemed to Revealed
This book is a story of rags to redeemed to revealed. Why me? Why write this book? Who would read it? These are questions I assume most authors ask themselves. There is a profusion of books written showing how God continues to interact with His people. For me, this book is personal; it is a continuation and illustration of my first book with many pictures. It’s also an endeavor to give specificity to God’s faithfulness, mercy, and engagement in the life of His people and in the life of His, working on being humble, servants. Soli Deo gloria!
